2.3.2. External Scrubbing
In Agilex™ 5 devices, the external scrubbing feature allows you to recover non-correctable SEU error.
To enable this feature, turn on Enable External Scrubbing in the Device and Pin Options dialog box of the Quartus® Prime software.
There are three main steps for performing external scrubbing:
- Generating the sector-based .rbf using the quartus_pfg command line.
- Performing the external scrubbing using the Fault Injection Debugger tool.
Note: External scrubbing and partial reconfiguration are mutually exclusive.
