4.5. Step 5: Revise a Packaged Subsystem
As the packaged subsystem author, you can optionally revise the packaged subsystem any time. You can open an existing packaged subsystem in Platform Designer, lock or unlock the packaged subsystem for other users, and specify other system changes in the Packaged Subsystem Script tab. You can then save the updated packaged subsystem (.qcp) with the same name.
To revise the dp_subsys packaged subsystem, follow these steps:
- In IP Catalog, right-click the dp_subsys packaged subsystem name, and then click Edit. The Edit Packaged Subsystem dialog box appears.
- Change any options or settings for the packaged subsystem on the Packaged Subsystem Script tab.

Note: The File path option is disabled to ensure that you revise and save only the existing packaged subsystem script rather than create a new instance. - When done revising the packaged subsystem script, click the Save button. You can now reuse and share the packaged subsystem .qcp with the latest revisions.
