5.4. Step 4: Unlock the Packaged Subsystem
As a packaged subsystem user, you can unlock a packaged subsystem for full editing control of the packaged subsystem, provided that the packaged subsystem author enables this control via the UNLOCKABLE property. To unlock a packaged subsystem for use as a template for a new component, follow these steps:
- In the System View, right-click the new dp_tx_subsys packaged subsystem, and then click Unlock. Click OK when prompted to confirm the unlock. The packaged subsystem unlocks and the icon changes to an unlocked subsystem.

Note: The Unlock command is unavailable unless the packaged subsystem author specifies UNLOCKABLE=true. - To view the full contents of the dp_tx_subsys subsystem, right-click the subsystem and then click Drill Into Subsystem. The dp_tx_subsys subsystem now appears fully editable in the System View tab.
