7.3. Runtime Interaction with the MMD Layer

The FPGA AI Suite runtime uses the MMD layer to interact with the memory-mapped device. In the SoC Example Design, the MMD layer communicates via Linux kernel drivers described in MMD Layer Hardware Interaction Library.

The key classes and structure of the runtime are described in " FPGA AI Suite Runtime" in FPGA AI Suite PCIe-based Design Example User Guide .
