  1. Open the Quartus® Prime software.
  2. Select Open Example Project from the homepage.

  3. In the New Project Wizard (Design Example), fill up the following options:
    1. What is the working directory for this project?
    2. Load from – Online design examples.
    3. Family – Select the target Intel FPGA device.
    4. Intel Quartus Prime version – Select the correct software version.
    5. Development kit – Select the Intel® FPGA development kit.
  4. Select the design example. The info box at the right displays the basic details of the example design.
  5. Click Next and accept the Software License Agreement. The example design is ready for customization.
  6. Refer to the readme.txt in the project directory for the how-to guide.
