7.3.3.2. Creating a Board Support Package Project
Follow these steps to create a BSP project:
- In the Platform Designer window,, go to File > New BSP . The Create New BSP window appears.
- For BSP setting file, navigate to the software/bsp folder and create a BSP file (settings.bsp).
- For System file (qsys or sopcinfo), select the Nios® V processor Platform Designer system.
- For Quartus project, select the example design Quartus Project File.
- For Revision, select the correct revision.
- For CPU name, select the Nios® V processor.
- Select the Operating system as Altera HAL.
- Click Create to create the BSP file.
