6.1. Ethernet to CPRI Design Example: Functional Description

This section supports the following configurations:
Table 18.  Supported Design Example Variants for Ethernet to CPRI Protocol Design Example
Base Variant (Startup IP/Mode) Dynamic Reconfiguration Variants
25G with RS-FEC 25G-1 Ethernet with RS-FEC
10G-1 Ethernet
24G CPRI with RS-FEC
10G CPRI
9.8G CPRI

Note: The Ethernet to CPRI Protocol Design Example demonstrates a total of 8 Dynamic Reconfiguration variants. However, conceptually, you can also perform dynamic reconfiguration switching between Ethernet mode to any other F-Tile CPRI PHY Intel FPGA IP core supported mode that are not listed in the table (for example, 12G CPRI RS-FEC or 6G CPRI).
