9.1.5. Generating the High-level Design Report

To generate the high-level design report, perform these steps:

  1. Locate the kernel.cl file under the OpenCL Kernel Files folder.
  2. Right-click on the kernel.cl file to view the context-sensitive menu.
  3. In the FPGA Device context-sensitive menu option, select the FPGA board name you have installed from the drop-down list.

If you have installed a board but you do not see the board name in the drop-down list, then enter the board name manually.

Note: To obtain a list of the available devices, you can run the aoc.exe -list-boards command.
  4. In the same context-sensitive menu, select the Create Compiler Report option to generate the high-level design report. After the report is generated, it opens in your default browser.
Note: If you select multiple OpenCL Kernel files, the Create Compiler Report option creates a combined report.
