3.5.2.6.1. Build and Install Netdev Driver

  1. Build the mqdma kernel driver and load. 
    $ systemctl stop  NetworkManager.service
    $ cd software/kernel

    $ make -C driver/kmod/mcdma-netdev-driver

    $ insmod driver/kmod/mcdma-netdev-driver/ifc_mcdma_netdev.ko
  2. Verify whether driver is loaded or not. 
    $ lspci -d 1172:000 -v | grep ifc_mcdma_netdev
    Kernel driver in use: ifc_mcdma_netdev 
    $ ifconfig | grep ifc_mcdma
ifc_mcdma0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
