The TPCx-BB Express Benchmark* (TPCx-BB)* is designed to measure the performance of big data analytics systems. The benchmark contains 30 use cases (queries) that simulate big data processing, big data storage, big data analytics, and reporting. The benchmark allows developers to explore efficient ways to optimize configuration parameters for those 30 representative workloads. Better optimizations could help developers speed up analyses of scaling clusters. Such optimizations could also help them select the best components earlier in the development cycle for business needs; and predict the best parameter optimizations for future generations of hardware and software.
