External Memory Interface (EMIF) Spec Estimator
The External Memory Interface Spec Estimator—a parametric tool—allows you to find and compare the performance of the supported external memory interfaces in Intel® FPGAs. You’ll have the ability to filter down to specific performances based on your targeted specifications and compare performances across FPGAs.
Archived external memory interface IP core specifications for previous version of Intel® Quartus® Prime Software are available on the below page:
External Memory Interface (EMIF) Spec Estimator Disclaimer
Intel’s External Memory Interface Spec Estimator (“ESTIMATOR”) helps you to quickly estimate the right external memory clock rate support in Intel® devices based on your needs. This ESTIMATOR, which is a beta version, should only be used to obtain an initial estimation of external memory interface performance. A final determination of the external memory interface performance should be based on a complete design compiled and timing analyzed in Intel Quartus® Prime or Quartus II software.
