Intel® Arc™ Graphics Cards Stops Displaying to Monitor (Black Screen)

Description

Various Intel® Arc™ Graphics cards have problems connecting to various monitors:

  • Sometimes unplugging/plugging back in the HDMI fixes it. 
  • Sometimes display works briefly, then the display goes blank; repeated unplugging/plugging HDMI doesn't work.

Resolution

Update to Intel Arc graphics driver to version 31.0.101.4502 or newer to resolve the issue.
