Description

Looking to know why the Intel® Graphics Command Center shows a warning message saying Some features are not supported on non-Intel adapters?

Resolution

The warning message Some features are not supported on non-Intel adapters is expected when two or more graphics controllers (cards) are enabled and at least one is from a third-party vendor.

The Intel® Graphics Command Center is targeted to manage the Intel® Graphics controllers. This message indicates that a third-party Graphics Controller (usually a discrete/secondary Graphics card) has been detected, and this doesn't represent any problem. To manage and apply configurations for third-party graphics, for instance, Nvidia*, use the software provided by the video card manufacturer or the Computer Manufacturer (OEM).

For screens connected via docking stations this is also expected behavior. When using docking stations, a separate device gets added to the display adapters, and this device has its own drivers. From then onwards, this separate driver takes control of the display monitors. Windows allows this behavior, and the graphics driver has no control over the display features.
