Looking for the pros and cons of disabling the onboard temperature sensors.
Temperature sensors are distributed in different sections of the SSD, as different internal components may have different temperature limits. The drive's temperature sensors affect the SSD thermal management mechanisms such as thermal throttling which is used to prevent the drive from going over its temperature limit or threshold.
