Factory testing may leave traces of fines scratches on Intel® Ethernet card connectors.
I have purchased a new Ethernet Adapter and upon close inspection, its PCI connector (Peripheral Component Interconnect) show signs of use. It looks as if the network card has been used.
You can see fine scratches on the PCI connector of a brand new Intel network card. This occurs as a result of testing, which is to ensure Intel products pass the quality check after production.
