You open this dialog box by clicking Add Hex Data in the Convert Programming Files dialog box.
Allows you to add or specify addressing for Hex Data items on the Input files to convert list.
- Absolute— Absolute
addressing overwrites any data in the address that is specified for
the Hex Dataitem. This is the default setting.
- Relative— The
addressing used on the end of the previous Hex Dataitem determines the addressing of the selectedHex Dataitem.
- Hex
file— Allows you to select a Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) File (.hex) Definition to add to the
list of files/data for conversion.
Note: Because addressing a hex data item relative to itself is equivalent to using absolute addressing, the addressing of the first hex data item in a series of hex data items will always be
absolute, even if Addressing Mode is set to Relative.
