Recreate State Machine Mnemonics Dialog Box

You open this dialog box by clicking Recreate State Machine Mnemonics on the Edit menu. This dialog box is available only when the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer window is open.

This dialog box allows you to select state machines from your design to add to your SignalTap II File (.stp) Definition.

Netlist:

Allows you to select Pre-synthesis or Post-fitting state machine nodes to display in the State Machine name column.

Overwrite existing mnemonic table:

Allows you to turn on or off the ability to overwrite the existing mnemonic tables in your design.

State machine nodes found:

State Machine Name— Lists the state machine nodes found in your design.
Mnemonic Table Name— Lists the mnemonic table names found in your design.
