SignalTap II File (.stp) Definition

A file containing signals captured by the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition SignalTapII Logic Analyzer. Captured signals in the SignalTap II File can be displayed as waveforms for viewing and analysis in the SignalTapII Logic Analyzer.

SignalTap Files are backward compatible with SignalTapII Files created with earlier versions of the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software.

The current version of the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software does not support Embedded Logic Analyzer Files (.ela).
