Intel® Xeon® D-1700 and D-2700 processors are high-performance SoCs with integrated Ethernet in high-density Ball-Grid Array packages. They deliver server-class computing, hardware-based security, and high-bandwidth I/Os for embedded and rugged applications at the edge.
The Intel® Xeon® D-1700 and D-2700 processors with up to 20 cores, with Integrated AI acceleration, support for hard-real-time workloads, extreme temperature range and industrial use conditions.1 This makes them ideal for demanding applications in high-bandwidth video analytics, as well as manufacturing, aerospace, etc.

Extended operating temperature ranges and industrial-class reliability make Intel® Xeon® D-1700 and D-2700 SoCs ideal for high-performance rugged equipment and sealed fanless devices that must run nonstop in the toughest environments.1
Built-in acceleration for AI workloads
Intel® Xeon® D-1700 and D-2700 processors feature Intel® Deep Learning Boost (Intel® DL Boost) and Intel® AVX-512 instructions sets1 , which accelerate deep learning inference processing on the CPU cores. Developers can convert trained models from practically any Framework to optimize inference that can run on any mix of Intel® architectures using the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit
Integrated Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (Intel® TCC) 1
Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (Intel® TCC) improves performance for latency-sensitive applications at the system level. Developers can use Intel® TCC tools to tune the system, enable precise time and task management for systems running real-time hypervisors like ACRN or RTS and real-time operating systems like Yocto Linux* with PREEMPT_RT or Wind River* VxWorks. Separate, discrete Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) solutions—a switch and endpoint—complement the Intel® TCC offering by providing synchronization and timeliness across networked devices.

Support high-bandwidth networks and peripherals
With up to 100Gb wired Ethernet and up to 56 high-speed PCIe lanes—32 PCIe 4.0 and 24 configurable PCIe 3.0 lanes—Intel® Xeon® D-1700 and D-2700 processors bring true server-class connectivity to the edge. The 24 PCIe 3.0 lanes can be configured as 24 SATA 3.0 ports or four USB 3.0 ports. The 32 PCIe 4.0 lanes can support large video camera systems, robot manufacturing lines, and high-speed local storage.
