3.7.2. Using the Legacy EMIF Debug Toolkit with Stratix® 10 HPS Interfaces

The Legacy External Memory Interface Debug Toolkit is not directly compatible with Stratix® 10 HPS interfaces.

To debug your Stratix® 10 HPS interface using the Legacy EMIF Debug Toolkit, you should create an identically parameterized, non-HPS version of your interface, and apply the toolkit to that interface. When you finish debugging this non-HPS interface, you can then apply any needed changes to your HPS interface, and continue your design development.
