The current USB 2.0 OTG controller model that exists in the Arria 10 SoC Virtual Platform has the following limitations:

USB 2.0 OTG Controllers do not support all USB storage devices.
The New Technology File System (NTFS) partition is read-only.
The Arria 10 SoC Virtual Platform enters an exception when unmounting the EXT3 partition from the USB controller.
USB Hub is not supported.
The USB 2.0 OTG controllers cannot receive events from USB human interface devices (HID).

The workarounds available are as follows:

USB 2.0 OTG Controllers do not support all USB storage devices.	The following USB storage devices are supported with the corresponding memory limitations: pqi Cool Drive 350, up to 2GB Apacer 4GB Silicon Power 4GB Pretec I-Disk 512MB
The New Technology File System (NTFS) partition is read-only.	Use the FAT32 or EXT3 file systems for read/write operations.
The Arria 10 SoC Virtual Platform enters an exception when unmounting the EXT3 partition from the USB controller.	The virtual platform must be restarted after unmounting the EXT3 partition.
USB Hub is not supported.	No workaround.
The USB 2.0 OTG controllers cannot receive events from USB human interface devices (HID).	No workaround.
