1.1. New Features and Enhancements

Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Version 21.1 and Version 21.1.1 include functional and security updates. Keep your software up-to-date and follow the technical recommendations that help improve the security of your Intel® Quartus® Prime installation.

Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Version 21.1 includes the following new features and enhancements:
  • Added support for the following simulation software:
    • Questa*-Intel® FPGA Edition

      This software replaces ModelSim*-Intel® FPGA Edition.

    • Questa*-Intel® FPGA Starter Edition

      This software replaces ModelSim*-Intel® FPGA Starter Edition.

Bug Fixes

Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Version 21.1.1 and Version 21.1 also include bug fixes. Review Software Issues Resolved and Software Patches Included in this Release to see if this version contains fixes for or otherwise resolves any of your customer service requests.
