Intel Also Introduces Platform Solutions, a Web Publication and Newsletter With Online Technical and Directional News for the Hardware Developer
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 15, 1997 -- Intel Corporation announced today the kick off of a semi-annual conference, the Intel Developer Forum, directed at business and consumer desktop, mobile, workstation and server computer developers. The three-day intensive forum, being held in San Francisco from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, will provide system OEMs and Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs) with comprehensive technical training and information on Intel technologies and industry initiatives that will keep them on the leading edge of emerging technologies. Using the provided tools, training and tips, developers will be able to expedite their development, optimize their designs and improve overall platform performance and time-to-market.
In addition to the in-depth forum, the company is also introducing a new online newsletter, titled "Platform Solutions," a Web publication with companion monthly e-mail newsletter, for the hardware developer community. Platform Solutions will provide the latest news and information on Intel Architecture, strategic direction and industry initiatives, plus valuable links to tools and technology sites.
