Description

Due to a problem in the U-boot version 2022.10, 2022.07 or older,  when exercising QSPI Boot flow in Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA F-Series Transceiver-SoC Development Kit (DK-SI-AGF014EA),  U-Boot may fail to launch Linux reporting problems with the images read from the QSPI memory.

The Image read by U-boot from the QSPI device shows some bits flipped, generating CRC errors.

Resolution

The problem has been fixed in U-Boot version 2023.01 and later versions.

For older U-Boot versions before 2023.01, please apply the patch to fix the problem.
