What is the latest device firmware available for the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1?

The latest device firmware for the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1 can be downloaded from the following links.

Fixes for the following problems are included in the latest release (The newest release contains all prior fixes and supersedes earlier device firmware releases).

Change Log

Firmware version 0.11fw:

1. Fix configuration failures seen when customer uses very specific sequence of Bad Bitstream at specific location followed by a good bitstream and nCONFIG asserted as soon as nSTATUS is de-asserted to indicate error. 

2. ​​​​Firmware bug fix to enable correct sequence of steps to do ram repair for FMICA CNT NIOS RAM Blocks. This bug can cause functional failures in crypto block in Agilex™ FPGAs. 

3. This patch enables user to force all M20K blocks to high speed mode on Agilex™ devices. To enable this feature, place the following line in quartus.ini and recompile the design.

     fdrgn_fm_m20k_force_optimization_option=high_speed

     The M20Ks located in the design partition generated with final (post-fit) snapshot will not be changed to high speed mode. You will need to recompile that partition, regenerate the .qdb and recompile the design to force the M20K in the partition(generated with final snapshot) to high speed mode.

Firmware version 0.40fw:

1. Resolve where some Agilex™ devices cannot configure F-Tile correctly.

2. Address the PR-Induced M20K Logic Failure

3. Fix the GHRD configuration issue of Agilex™ FPGA Devkit 

4. Fix SignalTap Internal Error when tapping m20k FIFO
