Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1, you might see this error when opening System Console and loading your generated SRAM Object File (.sof) file.
This error might occur when compiling any design where an IP has multiple child IP instances, which also have child IP instances. If these child IPs share the same parameterization, they may be instances of the same IP variant, and this causes some of these entities to have the same names, causing the “<node> already part of the group” error.
This problem was first seen using the Ethernet Subsystem Intel® FPGA IP, with multiple ports and AN/LT capabilities enabled.
