Why does the F-Tile Transceiver Toolkit show a time-out error after idling for a period of time in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3 ?

Environment

    Description

    Due to a problem with the F-Tile Transceiver Toolkit, if it is left idle for some time without anything running, the F-Tile Transceiver Toolkit connection will be interrupted and it will display a time-out error. 

    Resolution

    To work around this problem, check the Auto refresh RX CDR status or the Auto refresh TX Status Above checkbox, which will ensure that the connection is not interrupted.
