Why does the simulation for Intel® Arria®10 EMIF IP in Mentor simulators hang when using the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 22.1?

    Critical Issue

    Description

    Intel® Arria® 10 EMIF IP Simulation hangs in the Mentor simulator when calibration mode in EMIF IP GUI is set to “Skip”. To work around the problem in the Intel Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 22.1, set calibration mode in Intel® Arria 10 EMIF IP GUI to Abstract PHY calibration mode.

    Resolution

    This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software.
