Why do I see error when I am using analog input pins as GPIO pins with internal TSD enabled?

  • Modular Dual ADC core Intel® FPGA IP
  • Modular ADC core Intel® FPGA IP
    • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
    Description

    Using the internal TSD in MAX® 10 devices will activate the ADC alongside the analog input channels.

    Despite not using the analog input channels, you are disallowed to use the analog input pins as GPIO pins, thus you will encounter Error (176310): Can't place multiple pins assigned to pin location <pin_location>.
