Why doesn't my 3V IO work on Intel® Stratix® 10 devices?

Environment

  • Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition

    Description

    Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1 and earlier, you may see that your 3V IO does not work.

    This problem occurs in Intel® Stratix® 10 designs where the 3V IO pin is implemented on an unused Transceiver tile. 

     

     

    Resolution

    To work around this problem, ensure that a Transceiver is instantiated in the respective Transceiver tile where your 3V IO is located.

    This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
