Can I import my Altera Design Files (.adf) from Altera’s A PLUS software into the Quartus II software?

Yes, you can import Altera Design Files (.adf) from the A PLUS software into the Quartus® II software by first opening the project in the MAX PLUS® II software, as follows: 

1. Create a project in the MAX plus II software for the .adf file.
2. On the MAX plus II menu, click Compiler.
3. On the Processing menu, turn on Generate AHDL TDO File.
4. Click Compile.
5. Save the generated .tdo file as an AHDL file (.tdf) so that it can be used as a design file in a Quartus II project.
6. Convert the MAX PLUS II project to a Quartus II project.
7. Compile the TDF file in the new Quartus II project.
