Description
Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 12.0 and later, you may encounter this internal error when synthesizing designs that target Arria® II GZ devices. This problem may occur if you have not installed Stratix® IV devices libraries and you enable the physical synthesis settings “Perform physical synthesis for combinational logic” or “Perform register retiming”.
Resolution
To work around this issue, reinstall the Quartus II software including Stratix IV device libraries.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
