Are there any differences between the Intel based EPC16 device and the Micron/Sharp based EPC16 device in the QFP100 package with respect to how I should connect the pins on my board?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

Yes. For the Intel based EPC16 device in the QFP100 package, pin 5 is a power pin and not a Byte Enable, as it is on the non-Intel based EPC16 device, so connect this directly to VCC and not through a pull-up resistor.

Also on the EPC16 device in the QFP100 package, pins 37 & 41 are no connect (NC) pins. On the non-Intel based EPC16 in the QFP100 package, pin 41 is a GND pin.

For the EPC16 in the UBGA88 package, pin D3 is N/C for the Intel based Flash.
