How do I view the VREF pad or group in the Assignment Editor when targeting a Stratix® II device?

In the Quartus^® II software, the VRef Pad column does not exist in the Assignment Editor when you target a Stratix II device. When placing pins to satisfy Altera's pin placement guidelines, use VREF groups instead of VREF pads for Stratix II devices. VREF group information is included in the Assignment Editor beginning with version 5.0 of the Quartus II software.

To see VREF group information in versions of the Quartus II software before version 5.0, open the Timing Closure Floorplan (Assignments menu) and select Show VRef Groups from the View menu. VREF group information for Stratix II devices is also available in the pin-out tables.
