Why are my Instances and Details fields in the Intel® Quartus® Prime software System Console, Toolkit Explorer tab empty?

    Description

    Your Instances and Details fields in the Intel Quartus Prime software System Console, Toolkit Explorer tab may be empty if you do not have the full Intel Quartus Prime software installed.

    The Intel Quartus Prime software System Console Toolkits require the device database and several TCL files included in the Intel Quartus Prime software installation to work.

    Resolution

    If you want to use the Intel Quartus Prime software System Console Toolkits, you must install a full version of the Intel Quartus Prime software including the device database for the device you are using.
