Warning: "No default binding" (ModelTech ModelSim, Quartus)

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description You may get this warning when compiling a VHDL Output File (.vho) generated by the Quartus® software in ModelSim if you have not compiled the VHDL APEXTM libraries first. These files are located in the <quartus directory>/eda/sim_lib directory. Use the following commands to compile these libraries in ModelSim:

For APEX 20K devices, use the following commands:

vcom <quartus installation directory>/eda/sim_lib/apex20k_atoms.vhd
vcom <quartus installation directory>/eda/sim_lib/apex20k_components.vhd

For APEX 20KE devices, use the following commands:

vcom <quartus installation directory>/eda/sim_lib/apex20ke_atoms.vhd
vcom <quartus installation directory>/eda/sim_lib/apex20ke_components.vhd
