Description
Differential I/O standards do not support non-DQS pins from Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1 and onwards.
You will receive the Fitter error when assigning the differential I/O standard in non-DQS pins on any Intel® Stratix® 10 SX/MX/TX/DX ES1/ES2/ES3/production devices and Intel® Stratix® 10 GX ES/production devices except 1SG280 L-tile ES1/ES2 and 1SG280/1SG210/1SG165 H-tile ES1.
Resolution
To avoid this problem, the user must ensure the differential I/O standard pins are assigned to the DQS pin by referring to Intel® Stratix® 10 Device Pin-Out Files - DQSx4
