What EMIF Toolkit features are not supported for Stratix® 10 FPGAs in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software?

In the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software versions 17.1 and newer (including version 19.1), the following features of the External Memory Interface Toolkit are not fully verified to work with the Stratix® 10 FPGAs:

• Efficiency Monitor
• Traffic Generator 2.0
• Driver Margining
• Calibrate Termination
• Design Link (when applying the “Link Project to Device” command). This intermittent issue may cause the External Memory Interface Toolkit to be unresponsive. In this case, close and restart the External Memory Interface Toolkit, and the Design Link will likely pass on the next try.

In addition, the following Stratix 10 external memory configurations are not fully verified to work with the External Memory Interface Toolkit in the Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 17.1 and newer (including version 19.1):

• Interfaces with 4 or more ranks
• Designs with multiple interfaces in an I/O column

These External Memory Interface Toolkit features are scheduled to support Stratix® 10 FPGAs in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Software.
