No, Spansion parallel flash devices are not supported by the AP configuration scheme. This is because the AP scheme relies on flash access being synchronous to DCLK generated by the Cyclone® III or Cyclone IV device, and therefore requires the parallel flash device to have a clock input. Spansion parallel flash devices do not have clock inputs.
The only supported flash devices are the Numonyx StrataFlash® Embedded Memory P30 flash family and the Numonyx StrataFlash Embedded Memory P33 flash family.
