Describes a known display issue when selecting the main menu tabs in the UI of Ansys Discovery* 2024 at 4K resolution while using Built-In Intel® Arc™ Pro GPUs and Intel® Arc™ Pro discrete Graphics on Windows® 10 and Windows 11*. This issue is not seen at 2K resolution.
Users who run Ansys Discovery* 2024 at 4K resolution may experience UI draw issues when selecting tabs within the main menu UI and leaving the cursor over the tab element. A black screen may appear in the main window when hovering cursor over the main menu UI/Tabs.
Due to the temporary nature of the UI display draw issue, it is deemed by Ansys* as having a very low user experience impact. The tab issue is specific to 4k resolution and not seen with 2k resolution.
When moving the cursor (for example, over the viewport model) users should see the menu tab draw issue disappear.
As this issue is specific to 4K resolutions, any significantly impacted users should revert to 2K resolutions where the issue does not exist.
