Thunderbolt™ Share - Licensed Configurations & Hardware Requirements
What is Thunderbolt™ Share?
Thunderbolt™ Share software by Intel® provides PC-to-PC experiences with Thunderbolt™ 4 or Thunderbolt™ 5 enabled computers. It gives you sharing capabilities to share a keyboard, video, and mouse between two PCs that have Thunderbolt™ ports as well as high-speed file transfer tools including drag and drop, folder synchronization, and PC file migration using a Thunderbolt™ Cable.
What is Thunderbolt™ Share Licensed?
Thunderbolt™ Share is software bundled and licensed by selected PC or Accessory manufacturers. It enables two Windows* PCs to connect directly via a Thunderbolt™ cable or with a Thunderbolt™ accessory (dock, monitor, storage). While Thunderbolt™ Share software can be loaded on any Windows® Thunderbolt™ 4 or Thunderbolt™ 5 enabled laptop, one PC or Thunderbolt™ accessory must be Thunderbolt™ Share licensed from the manufacturer for Thunderbolt™ Share to work.
Look for new PCs or Thunderbolt™ accessories that are Thunderbolt™ Share enabled. If you are unsure if your PC or Accessory is Thunderbolt™ Share licensed, check with the manufacturer, as Thunderbolt™ Share will be listed as a supported feature for that specific model.
