The latest Intel® VROC driver for Linux* is included by the Operating System Vendors (OSVs) in their Linux* product releases as an inbox driver.
Unable to determine where to obtain the latest Intel® VROC driver for Linux* for my specific platform.
The Intel® VROC driver for Linux* release strategy is upstream to open-source community and has Operating System Vendor (OSV) partners incorporate necessary upstream patches into their Linux* product releases to have the inbox support of Intel® VROC. Meanwhile, Intel may release Intel® VROC Linux* update (out-of-box) packages in order to support some old Linux* distributions or new features on certain Intel® Xeon® platforms. For a detailed operating system support list, refer to the Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) Supported Configurations.
Intel® VROC out-of-box packages for Linux* may be available from your respective system vendor. However, we highly recommend to move instead to a Linux* operating system that includes inbox support for Intel® VROC.
