Error: "Platform Not Supported" When Opening Intel® Arc™ Control

Description

When opening Intel® Arc™ Control, I encountered an error which says "Platform Not Supported".

Resolution
  1. Ensure that you are using the following components:
    • 11th Generation Intel® Core processor or newer
    • Intel® Iris® Xe or Intel® Arc™ graphics adapter with the latest drivers
     
    NoteIf the drivers are not updated, update your graphics driver. For more information on how to update your graphics driver, refer to the steps on How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11*.
  2. If you are using the components above but still get the error, set the Intel® Arc™ Control default Graphics adapter to the Intel® Iris® Xe or Intel® Arc™ graphics adapter for more information on how to set your default graphics, follow the steps on How To Set the Default GPU for Applications and Games.
