Description
Error message: "This operating system is not supported," when installing gfx_win*.exe for legacy Intel® Core™ Processor Graphics.
Resolution
- Go to Intel® Graphics – Windows* DCH Drivers.
- Select version number start with 27.
- Download igfx_win10_*.zip.
- Extract the zip file to any folder.
- Open Device manager.
- Find Display adapters > Intel UHD Graphics (or Microsoft basic display adapter if it's never installed before).
- Right-click and select Update driver.
- Select Browse my computer for drivers.
- Click Browse and navigate to the extracted folder.
- Click Next.
- Reboot the system after the installation is done.
