What Is the Format Used for the Email Notifications Configured With Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) for Windows*?

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Summary

Details on the format of the Intel® VROC email notifications generated after different system events.

Description

Unable to find details on what the email notifications sent by Intel® VROC look like or how they are formatted.

Resolution

The email notifications generated after different events use the following format:

From: [return e-mail address]
To: [recipient e-mail address]

Subject: <software_name>: [Information/Warning/Error] notification on [hostname]

The <software_name> may appear as Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology or Intel(R) Virtual RAID on CPU. For the generic Intel® VROC 7.7 driver and prior, it should be Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology but the system vendor likely modified it to appear like the second option, or even show a different one.

Regarding the message body, this will include the event as it is displayed in the event log, and also the system report as shown in the Intel® VROC Graphical User Interface (GUI).
