How to fix Intel® NUC M15 Laptop Kit automatically goes to sleep after 1 minute of user away.
When the sleep feature on Windows* is disabled on Intel® NUC M15 Laptop Kit, the computer will still automatically go to sleep after 1 minute of user away.
This is related to advanced features that sense when a user is not present, the display can go to sleep until they return.
To disable this feature,
- Install Intel® NUC Software Studio Service.
- Download Intel® NUC Software Studio* through Microsoft Store.
- Run Intel® NUC Software Studio.
- Turn off Lock When Not Present.
If the system still locks or display continues to go to sleep when a user it not present, a reinstallation of the drivers may be necessary.
- Press the Windows Key
- Type apps and click Add or Remove Programs
- Uninstall Intel® Context Sensing Service and Intel® Dynamic Tuning.
- Restart the system.
- Download the latest driver package from Intel® NUC M15 Laptop Kit and unzip it.
- Install the following drivers:DTT version 8.7.10801.25109 and ICSS version 8.7.10700.22502.
- Restart the system.
- Install Intel® NUC Software Studio Service, if not done already.
- Download Intel® NUC Software Studio through Microsoft Store, if not done already.
- Run Intel® NUC Software Studio.
- Turn off Lock When Not Present.
