Description

Goes to sleep in less than 30 seconds even if the laptop is being used.

Enrolled face recognition but it never detects the user in front of the laptop.

Resolution

Steps to fix Intel NUC M15 EVO LAPBC710 Laptop going to sleep in less than 30 seconds:

  1. Run Windows Update.
  2. Update the BIOS to the latest version.
  3. Check and configure the power option settings.
    • Go to Start menu -> search for "Power & Sleep"). 
    • Ensure Screen and Sleep settings are set to your expectations.
  4. Go to System Settings, go to Display Settings and uncheck: Change brightness automatically when lighting changes.
  5. If the issue still persists, contact the point of purchase.
