How do I check to see if my Intel Processor supports Intel® Boot Guard?

Resolution

The Intel® Boot Guard is a Device Protection Technology with Boot Guard to help protect the system’s pre-OS environment from viruses and malicious software attacks.

To check if the Intel® Processor has Intel® Boot Guard supported, follow steps below:

  1. Go to product specification page.
  2. Enter the processor number in the search bar, located upper-right corner. For help finding the Intel processor number, visit How to Identify My Intel® Processor.
  3. Click the Security & Reliability section.
  4. Look up the Intel® Boot Guard field; if it is set to Yes then the technology is supported.

Here is an example using Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 185H.
