Update to the latest version of Intel® Arc™ Control to reserve the issue.
Description
Using "Add or Remove Programs" to uninstall Intel® Arc™ Control leaves remnants:
- Leaves an empty \Program Files\Intel\Intel Arc Control folder
- If you created a link in the Task Bar, it leaves this Shortcut: \Users\Local_Admin\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\Tombstones\Intel Arc Control
- Leaves reg keys in the Registry:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE
- HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software
Resolution
This is resolved in the latest versions of Intel Arc Control. Install the latest Intel Arc Graphics driver to resolve the issue.
