Troubleshooting often requires clearing browser cache and cookies. Follow the steps below for the browser you use.
Clearing cache and cookies in Internet Explorer 8*
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Open Safety menu, located near the top of the browser.
- Click Delete Browsing History.
- Select Temporary Internet files and Cookies.
Note | All other boxes may remain unchecked, according to your preference. |
- Click the Delete button to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Internet Explorer 9*
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click the gear icon in the top right-hand corner to open up the Tools menu.
- Select Safety > Delete Browsing History.
- Select Temporary Internet files and Cookies.

- Click the Delete button to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Edge*
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner.
- Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Check the boxes for cookies and cache, then click Clear now.
Clearing cache and cookies in Mozilla Firefox*
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Open the Menu in the top right-hand corner.
- Select Options > Privacy and click Delete or Clear Recent History.
- Select Everything as the time range, then click details to select what you would like to delete.
Note | Make sure you select Cookies and Cache. All other boxes may remain unchecked according to your preference. |
- Click the Clear Now button to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Google Chrome*
- Open Google Chrome.
- Open the Menu in the top right-hand corner.
- Select More Tools > Privacy and click Clear Browsing Data.
- Make sure you select Cookies and Cache.

- Click Clear browsing data to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Apple Safari*
- Open Apple Safari.
- Open the Menu in the top right-hand corner and select Preferences.
- Select Advanced.
- Check the Show Develop Menu in menu bar box.
- You now have the Develop Menu available.
- Select Empty Caches from the Develop Menu.
